From Wikepedia

Specialties of Soest

Among the old specialties of Soest are the Möppkenbread and the Pumpernickel. The Bakery Haverland at the town center, former royal Bavarian court supplier of the dark bread, has existed since 1570. A newer specialty is the “Bullenauge” (Bull's eye), a mocha liquor, sold mostly at the Allerheiligenkirmes. Another specialty of Soest is the Soester Beer, also called Onion beer, brewed since 1993 in the Zwiebel (Onion) inn

Looks like Moppkenbread washed down with Onion Beer and Mocha liquor chasers...............  Sounds good

You could always go via the Petwood Hotel in Woodhall Spa. During 1943 it served as 617 sq officers mess.

Whats the weather going to be like when this run is on ?  yes, I know thats asking a smidge too much, but I am just wondering if its likely to a be a ride through the snow, -500degrees, etc - just an idea of what it might be like around the end of Feb.

Tarverymuchlike

ps. I dropped them a booking off their website reserving a single room and parking - so im in.  I assume that "Abschicken" is the sent button rather than some slur.
