Well folks, I thought I would post this early as I'm going to be busy in the days leading up to leaving.

For my next little adventure here is my SPOT link.

This time it's Australia. I've got quite a bit of work to do at the start so the SPOT isn't going to be that exciting until the middle of May. My schedule is roughly: fly into Melbourne, pick up bike, couple of days in Melbourne, ride up to Adelaide, a couple of weeks in and around Adelaide and the Adelaide Hills, to Canberra, to Lismore NSW, to Southport QLD, to Sydney. Last work commitment 14th May. 29th May FarRide #13 Mitchell QLD. 2nd June return bike and fly to Hong Kong.

Will decide what I can get up to in my free time after 14th once I'm there and see what the riding is like. Will be riding a BMW 1150 GS Adventure.

I will post (or Denise will) if I'm going to have a crack at an IBA run. I will be online most of the time I'm working until I head into the outback.

Really looking forward to this trip. Will be back just in time for the RBLR1000.

Cheers
David

It is work that is taking me there (always nice when someone else pays the airfare etc) but as I said on the USA thread:

I'm very fortunate this year

I'm making hay while the sun shines because my job changes in August and for the next few years it will be a bit tougher to get so much free time

Should take a keyring as well Dave, apparently you can spot them from miles

Don't forget that he will have a weight restriction on the flight out there.
