Excellent write-up Ray and well done.

I agree with your conclusion as well but then you'd have guessed that already .

Kevin

Great write up Ray.

Good advice to any rider on a ride is knock it on the head if you are not in the right frame of mind. It's just not worth it. It's only a ride.

Nice one Ray. I agree, there is certainly a value added doing a good
ride with someone else. Although I still like to punt off on my own
occassionally.

I know what you mean Dave, like yesterday the sun was out yesterday and so as soon as I'd got Lilie Rose off to school it was off down to Touratech for me.

Don't worry you missed NOTHING at all it was CLOSED

I was going to check the web but forgot. The ride down is BRILLIANT though and with the weather being just superb Sunshine all the way it was a great ride. Even if 212 miles door to door was a long way to go to find the shutters down. They were in but all locked down so headed over to the Adventure Brke Riders meeting at Startford upon Avon to find 5 bikes and not a sole to speak to Not my  day all in all.

Put ear plugs in ready to leave and one of the guys who had come out of the restaurant with 5 others came over to ask if I was ther for the "Talk" that night, I told him I was heading off home. He was a little supprised after how far I had ridden  ???  I just got on my bike and headed home and out for tea with J.

STATS

Set off at 9.30am filled up at ASDA called by the Raven to plum in Touratech.

Arrived Tourateck 13.30 so a steady 212 miles door to door - drank a small bottle of water took picture

Plummed in Stratford Upon Avon location after finiding it on mobile google 100 and odd miles

Arrived Stratford 14.15 as roads were well busy filled up as done 1 mile on reserve so tank returned 321 miles to reserve (reserve = 50miles) =

Plummed in home another 127 miles ate a snikers drank my water had a very breif chat with some guy with my ear plugs in and lid on. That was after standing around and taking pictures of a brand new World Crosser Super Ten .

Arrived home at 19.12 due to Stratford and Birmingham Rush Hours getting in the way.

So 486 miles (almost half an SS1000) in just under 10 hours. Three breaks and two fillups. OH and got home without petrol guage moving I LOVE MY NEW TANK!!!!
