What started as a gauntlet thrown down at the feet of

the predominantly BMW GS Rider Community in South
Africa ended at 23:04:37 although the required Dirt
Distance was reached at 22:38:04 they had to travel
another 22 kilometers to get the final fuel slip. The
whole ride was tracked using BubblerGPS Pro with
Spotwalla. BTW an awesome piece of software that was
used as one of the tools to certify the ride.
4 Intrepid Riders set out on 2015-09-12 at 00:01:54.
At 03:30:38 there was an unfortunate crash as one of
the riders with a KTM overshot a sharp bend and went
down. The motorcycle sustained enough damage not to
be able to continue. Fortunately the the rider only
sustained minor injuries. it was decided that one
rider will stay behind and two other will continue the
The only niggling "problem" that I now have is that
the original Dusty Butt artwork has been gathering
dust to the extent that it is difficult to get it. If
anyone can help and provide me with it, I assure you
that it will be highly appreciated.
